Lori KellyLori Kelly is the Manager of Strategic Community Initiatives at the City of Mississauga.  As part of the team that created the Our Future Mississauga Strategic Plan Lori provided leadership to what became the largest community engagement initiative in the City's history.  Connecting with over 100,000 people the Strategic Plan represents the vision for our city and a road map for what the community wants to see achieved in the next 40 years.  With an honours degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario and certification as a Human Resources professional Lori now leads a team of staff whose mandate is to to advance the Strategic Plan by leading strategic projects with significant community input and benefit.  Current projects include Inspiration Lakeview, Downtown 21 and the development of phase 2 of Sheridan College.

Jacquelyn Hayward GulatiJacquelyn Hayward Gulati is Manager of the Cycling Office at the City of Mississauga and has been responsible for overseeing the implementation of cycling infrastructure, programs and promotion since April 2011.  Jacquelyn has approximately ten years experience in sustainable transportation and Transportation Demand Management (TDM).  In her most recent role of TDM Coordinator at the City of Mississauga, significant past projects included leading the implementation of parking fees in municipal garages along with a discount transit program and policies aimed at shifting transportation mode choice.  Prior to this, Jacquelyn worked in various organizations including the Smart Commute Association, Pollution Probe and the first Transportation Management Association (TMA) in Ontario, the Black Creek Regional TMA.  She studied at York University's Faculty of Environmental Studies in the Bachelor program with a focus on environmental management.  Jacquelyn is a member of the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) Canada and the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP).

Stewart JuelichStewart Juelich is a Senior HR Professional, with over 20 years experience in the areas of HR/Payroll Management, Employee/Labour Relations, Recruitment, Executive/Employee Coaching, Health and Safety, Communications, Facilitation and Training. Stewart is currently Manager, Human Resources for Transat A.T. inc. located in Etobicoke. Transat A.T. Inc. is a vertically integrated company specializing in the organization, marketing and distribution of holiday travel.  Tour operators in Canada and France make up the core of its business while air transportation and destination services complete its primary divisions.  Finally, Transat has secured a dynamic presence in distribution through travel agency networks. Ahmed Hussein

 

Ahmed Hussein joined Hatch in 2008 as an environmental/gas handling engineer following graduation from the University of Waterloo.  His work focuses on air pollution control for Mining and Metals clients.

 

 


Andrew Tohn

Andrew Tohn joined Hatch in 2008 as a process engineer in the Industrial Minerals group after graduating from McGill University. His background is in operations and process metallurgy, with significant focus on fluidized bed applications.

 

 

Both volunteer with Hatch’s Sustainable Development (SD) Committee in support of Commuting Initiatives (CI). During their time with the Committee, participation in CI activities has increased and daily fuel/carbon savings have approximately doubled.  In early 2011, Andrew led the launch of Hatch’s Bike Share program, which offered employees the opportunity to bicycle between Hatch offices.

The CI team continues to seek opportunities to advance and expand the program and is dedicated to sharing their knowledge with others looking to implement sustainable commuting initiatives.
